Timothée Chalamet and Ansel Elgort Went to High School Together, But Only One of Them Made Epic Rap Videos

Jodi Smith | Celebrity | January 9, 2018

Timothée Chalamet, star of award season darlings Lady Bird and Call Me by Your Name, attended high school with my nemesis, and star of Baby Driver, Ansel Elgort. The two have been spotted hanging out at Knicks games and were on the red carpet for The Golden Globe Awards Sunday night. MTV took the opportunity to ask the two stars who was more popular in high school.

Wait a minute—did you say Chalamet was a rapper? What’s this? Ellen to the rescue with receipts?

That’s a full-body cringe from me, as secondhand embarrassment is my superpower. What do you think, kids? Should Chalamet quit his day job?
