American Ninja Warrior on NBC at 8:00pm ET.

Roswell, New Mexico on The CW at 8:00pm ET. This current season will be the last one, so my condolences to anyone attached to this show which surprises me a bit every week. Anyway, my knowledge of this comes exclusively from promos on YouTube and like most CW shows it seems like a mix of really overbaked dialogue, meaningful stares, and some exceptionally shoddy CGI.

Hiding in Plain Sight: Youth Mental Illness on PBS at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. This seems like a very necessary series and also one that’s going to feel pretty bleak. Over the last 2+ years, I’ve felt a lot of sympathy for teenagers and other young people hitting a point in their life when they should be gaining independence and spreading their wings and having everything shut down around them. There’s no good answer as to what else could have happened, but it’s going to take a long time to dig out what the long-term effects are going to be.

Irma Vep on HBO at 9:00pm ET.

Breeders on FX at 10:00pm ET.
