There are a lot of bad dudes in the world, and lately, we have been finding out that some people who maybe we once appreciated or respected fit into that bad dude category.

One who decidedly does not: Anthony Bourdain, who is over on Twitter right now basically saying “Fuck all of y’all enablers.” As opposed to a lot of the PR speak we have been getting from the few men who have spoken up, this is incredibly refreshing: Nauseating, chicken-hearted enablers all.

And to be clear: I’m talking about all the people who knew and said nothing -and those who are STILL staying silent . NOT his victims.

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 6, 2017

Where’s the loud, vocal support for these women? Mostly a shameful silence

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 7, 2017

Watching the media tiptoe around its decades long silence on #Weinstein makes me miss David Carr even more ferociously

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 8, 2017

Here he is taking Matt Damon and Russell Crowe to ask for spiking a 2004 story implicating Harvey Weinstein in a sexual harassment scandal.
Wow. Just, wow. Damon and Crowe and The NYT got some 'splaining to do.

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 8, 2017

“….and Mr. Lombardo, would you be kind enough to describe your day to day responsibilities for Miramax?”

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 9, 2017

Looking forward to "THE BOURNE APOLOGY" in which Jason fights off attempts to expose a pimp

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 10, 2017

That last tweet made me audibly gasp.

Here he is going after Donna Karan, who yesterday said that Weinstein’s victims were “asking for it.”

To @dkny How many seventeen year olds have you dressed like they are, in your words, "asking for it "?

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 10, 2017

But he’s not just going after the enablers, he’s showing support for those who spoke up, too. One of the victims is Asia Argento. You might be familiar with her as a model, actress, singer, and director. I didn’t know of her until she appeared in an episode of Parts Unknown last year. Beyond the delicious food, the episode focused on history and architecture, but what stood out most were the sparks exploding between Tony and Asia. Bourdain’s brusque and matter-of-fact attitude seemed a perfect match for Asia, who at the end of the episode asked him “So you’re saying there’s a little fascist inside you?” Intelligence, beauty, and sass. How could he not fall for that?

.@AsiaArgento I am proud and honored to know you. You just did the hardest thing in the world.

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 10, 2017

.@rosemcgowan has been way out in front of this thing . Took a lot of courage.

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 7, 2017

Can everyone who dismissed @rosemcgowan now do the right thing and go fuck themselves?

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 10, 2017

Finally, he affixes the appropriate label to Harvey Weinstein:

Can we use the word “rapist” now? #Weinstein

— Anthony Bourdain (@Bourdain) October 10, 2017

(It should be noted that Bourdain is also dating Asia Argento)
