It takes a special kind of genius to see the potential for absurdity in the mundane. Internet humorist Jesse McLaren watched the behind-the-scenes featurette of Doctor Strange doing some stunts and thought, “you know what, this needs more Glenn Fry”, words never before uttered before by man, woman, or child. And nothing goes better with Glenn Fry than a little mindless summer fun. And so, Jesse took it upon himself to perform some computer magic and give the taciturn space wizard the ride of his life! At a water park!

I love the idea of Doctor Strange opening up a water park and filming and starring in his own commercial to save money on production. I can easily picture this running mid-afternoon, in between ads for The Stark Technical Institute Of Technology (starring Tony in an ill-fitting suit, extolling the virtues of his 6-week certificate program in electrical engineering and refrigerator repair) and spots for Matt Murdock, Attorney At Law. If Doctor Strange’s Splash Zone were real, I’d probably never go, because water parks are a great way to get dysentery, but I definitely wouldn’t fast forward through his commercial if it came on while I was watching my stories!
