Only yesterday, we were treated to a new Weird Al video, giving us his take on those ubiquitous Pharrell “Happy” videos. Now my polka parody pals, I don’t want to overwhelm you, but brace yourselves. Today, Weird Al released ANOTHER video (and plans to release a new one every day this week), and this one is practically custom made for the snobby, pedantic, grammar-appreciating Pajiban.
There have been a whole YouTube’s worth of terrible response videos to Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” and a child-sized handful of really great ones, but none of them have ever come close to the brilliance of Weird Al’s “Word Crimes.” Why? Duh, because none of them ever had a rap about homophones.
