After losing his wife, 96-year-old Fred channeled his fond memories of her into song format and entered an online song writing competition. Being 96, he physically mailed his entry in. What follows is a short film about Fred’s marriage and the making of his song “Sweet Lorraine.” The quality of the actual song matters much less than this endearing story. I’m sorry, did I make your mascara/guyliner run? Bygones.
