The Gospel Choir Returns to 'The Daily Show' With a Very Special Message for the News Media (Psst. It's 'Go F**k Yourself')

The last time we saw the gospel choir on The Daily Show was, I believe 2010, when Jon Stewart apologized to Fox News because they are an evil, disingenuous news organization. Last night, the choir returned, after one of the news media’s talking points had suddenly become, “President Obama and the Affordable Care Act must be doing really bad if he’s lost Jon Stewart” (spoiler: President Obama hasn’t lost Jon Stewart).

Stewart wasn’t pleased that the news media had used him as a measuring stick for the President’s support. Here, he delivers a very important message.

Not for nothing, but I would totally bang that bearded guy in the Tillamook ad that hulu has forced upon me. I guess that's the point, pleasant associations with the brand.

I love that he has sung twice this week.

I may use that screen shot as a sig on certain boards. I'll know what they're singing, and that's all that matters.

Has it really been that long since we've seen the choir? Wow. Feels like only yesterday. The sound production was bad, but it still gave me a giant belly laugh that I needed. Colbert & Stewart have been extra awesome lately.

Funnily enough, 'Go Fuck Yourself' is the same exact message I have for 'Not available outside the United States' Hulu.
    Except it's less sing-song-y, and more rage-stab-y.

EDIT: The bleeps make the whole song.

God, I hate it when I mix up sing-song-y and rage-stab-y. Messes with my probation schedule something serious.
