Ahead of the fourth season premiere of Game of Thrones, which arrives on April 6th, HBO filmed an origins video for the production of the series with David Benioff and Dan Weiss. Narrated by Charles Dance, the video tells the entertaining and sometimes hard-to-believe journey of how the hugely popular book series were made into what we see on the screen.

Not included in the video: Apparently, Gandalf’s sword from Lord of the Rings is included among those in the actual Iron Throne.

Robin of Locksley and Orlando Bloom’s sword from Kingdom of Heaven are also purportedly among those in the throne.

Comments Are Welcome, Bigots and Trolls Are Not

Little Arya and Bran are so adorable (not that they're not still adorable but look how tiny they used to be)

It's been discussed that the swords used in the Iron Throne casting have used different sources, which also goes along with the "George Bush" controversy from the first season.
