Watch what happens when three fantastic comedians encounter a giant fly during a tape of the Graham Norton show. It's like the greatest unplanned prop ever. Do they shoo it away? No, what fun would that be? This is terrific.

'Did you just drink the fly?!'
Made my Sunday hangover much better.

I will never understand this site's obsession with Kristen Wiig. She's mediocre at best.

  • apsutter

I think she was mediocre on SNL but I find her to be adorable and funny in everything else.

  • apsutter

This just proves to me, yet again, that I really need to start watching Graham Norton. Thesenfour are great together and I really hope Chris O'Dowd has a great career, he is just wonderful.

  • SorayaS

I apologise in advance (but not really) because you are going to lose hours of your life- there is a channel on youtube "GrahamNortonFan" which has uploaded every episode. Hilarious viewing, even when you're not familiar with the guests.

  • apsutter

Thank you for the recommendation! It doesn't matter if I don't know all the guests, I enjoy the episodes of Top Gear with strangers in it just as much as the ones with guests that I know.

I'm 5'1", chris can put me in his pocket ANY time he wants. I will happily fetch his keys and phone and tic tacs. And tickle him to make him giggle like the drunken irish Pillsbury dough boy that he is.

  • Mirabelle

Three fantastic comedians? I count four.

  • John W

    That was hilarious.

  • Cazadora

I didn't think it was possible to laugh and gag at the same time. Hmmm I think there's a pun in there somewhere.

  • AshBookworm

I watched this on Iplayer, this morning, and I'm still having trouble believing it was unscripted. Either way, it's hilarious.

  • wsapnin

You can see the fly swirling down toward the floor where his glass is sitting.

  • AshBookworm

Upon rewatch, yes, you are right! Thanks.

  • ironjohn

GN: You didn't swallow any of it? It's all still there?

    CO: That's right. I'm a good girl.

  • Three_nineteen

I can't wait to watch this when it's on BBC America next week.

  • Lemon_Poundcake

This makes me love Chris O'Dowd even more. I'd put him in my pocket except he's too damn tall.

  • I was always curious to know what Waldo would look like if he grew up and stopped shaving. So thank you Steve Carell.

  • wojtek

And on top of that - O'Dowd farts. 1:47-1:50 (and his exchange of glances with Kristen Wiig).

First time I found YouTube comments useful. Well, as useful as pointing out a fart can get.

  • Tarn

No, I think that was the Despicable Me fart gun Graham had produced earlier - he set it on timer and they were waiting for it to go off. But the fly wasn't planned. :-)

This ep also had the best Red Chair story ever!

  • wojtek

You have spoiled my flatulence fun. I will hunt you down mercilessly.

  • ferryman

I'm pretty sure Tarn has access to the NSA files on the farting incident...

  • Tarn

yes, I do, and I'm looking for a country to hide in! How's the weather in Ecuador, Snowden?

  • ferryman

    I've reported this to PETA.

  • Wōđanaz Óðinn

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly, perhaps she'll die.
