Patton Oswalt Will Make Terrible Movies... Differently Terrible
Patton Oswalt has teamed up with the folks at Uproxx and IFC to indie-fy blockbuster films. Because who hasn’t watched a movie and thought to themselves, “I wish it was more mumblecory”?
Well, in the case of The Lone Ranger, it couldn’t make it worse, right?
This video contains the first three of seven total indie-ized movies. To be fair, I shouldn’t call the originals “terrible.” I actually didn’t see Monsters University, and I’m sure it’s adorable, if bland. (I hear! Yell at me below if I’m wrong.) But I really hope they do Pacific Rim as a coming of age story about young Brooklynites. Cause the world needs more of that.
