I’m starting to get a little worried about Mia Wasikowska. I mean, I love her. And she’s talented enough to get work without having to change her unwieldy last name so I can’t knock her movies so far. But, Mia, sweetie, maybe try a comedy once in a while? Oh, what’s that? You’re doing Madame Bovary instead?
Huh. Well it does look good. And it’s nice to see Lady Edith doing something else. But seriously, no more dark period pieces for at least a couple of years. More Tom Hardy, less Thomas Hardy, you know? Stoker is somehow one of your more upbeat movies from the past few years. Just think about that for a minute.
