A slightly better story than the one you’re about to see is the one that Louis C.K. told prior to the audition story (the embed is not yet available) about performing at a big ceremony for Mayor De Blasio. In that story, Louis C.K. had to take a piss beforehand, but it backfired on him. Literally. And he ended up going on stage in front of a lot of New York politicians, while standing next to the Mayor, with shit in his pants.

But this story is the one that’s embeddable at the moment, and it concerns the time that Jimmy Fallon auditioned for The Dana Carvey Show, where Louis C.K. was the head writer. Fallon had a great audition, but as Louis tells it, he basically single-handedly convinced the rest of the staff to reject him, not because he wasn’t great but because Louis was jealous of his youth, good looks, and “fine ass.”

Louie, by the way, returns on Thursday night.
