Daniel Radcliffe was on The Colbert Report last night, plugging his his movie, Kill Your Darlings, in which he plays Allen Ginsberg (the likeness is uncanny! Oh, wait, no it’s not). It was one of those terrific interviews where Colbert is on fire, Radcliffe is at his dapper, self-deprecating best, and there’s so much charm in the room that it almost makes you want to see a movie about beatniks. The interview starts out hilariously (Colbert admits to stalking Radcliffe, and Radcliffe gives his permission to continue), and crescendoes into Radcliffe talking about the inspiration for his American accent, then Stephen Colbert doing an impression of an English person’s American accent, and culminates in Daniel Radcliffe challenging fellow extremely short person, Elijah Wood, to a fight.

Love Dan Rad, he's always funny and worth a watch. Also, a very talented actor. Looking forward to seeing this film and the others he has lined up.

  • e jerry powell

    It was just adorable.

  • **I AM** NotTheOne

    Like two puppies wrestling.

  • MonkeeKnucklez

Still love his guest spot on 'Extras'. So damn good.

  • pisswizard

goddamn that kid is adorable. I want to pinch his cheeks.

  • alwaysanswerb

    Which ones?

  • pisswizard

I was thinking specifically of squeezing his facemeat but I certainly wouldn't turn down a squeeze of his backmeat if he were into that.... Although I suspect I'd have to duck down to reach. Bless 'im.

  • Ruthie O

Hollywood really needs to look at the UK for tips on how to raise child stars; all of the Potter kids have grown up to be so grounded, charming and even humble.

  • BWeaves

    I'd love a Potter/Frodo fight, in costume.

  • Sassy Pikachu

    That would be glorious.

  • Fabius_Maximus

No, it wouldn't. Frodo would curl up on the ground and let the 10-year-old kick the shit out of him.

(Movie Frodo would. Not book Frodo.)

  • Sassy Pikachu

I was thinking the actors in costumes, not as in the actual characters. Because that would be one hell of a one-sided fight. Harry would slaughter him.

  • NateMan

Until Samwise got all stabby on Harry for daring to mess with his Top.

  • Sassy Pikachu

This reminds me of the secret diaries for the fellowship of the ring. Sam was very fond of giving Mr. Frodo baths.

  • BlackRabbit

Darn it! I was just going to mention that till I saw your comment.

  • This distinction is so important. And this is coming from someone who LOVES the movies.

  • Mohammed Al Qemzi

The things I'd do to see both of them onscreen :|
