Katie Couric's April Fool's Prank on James Corden Was Delightfully Cruel

I’ve watched a ton of James Corden clips since he debuted last week, although although we haven’t featured any on the site yet because I’m not quite ready to let go of Craig Ferguson, and I’m not that sure we needed a British Jimmy Fallon. That’s exactly what Corden has proven himself to be, and honestly, if you’re going to get a British male to take over a late-night show, Graham Norton would’ve been a better choice. He’s different, at least (although, Corden is at least borrowing the idea of having all of his guests out at the same time).

Anyway, this clip I couldn’t resist, if only for the look on Corden’s face that says, “Oh sh*t. It’s not even been two weeks, and I’m about to lose my show.”

Three things about this clip: 1) I love that there were a couple of audience members that tried to catch her on the way down; 2) your guest just fell down the stairs, James. RUN FASTER, and 3) after that, Katie Couric’s stunt-double should’ve come out as a guest instead of Couric.
