If you’re not watching “The League,” you should be. It comes back next week on FX’s new comedy spin-off, FXX. It’s about a fantasy-football league, but it’s not really, you know? Like “Friday Night Lights” isn’t really about football. Anyway, one of the stars of “The League,” Jon Lajoie, is also a novelty songwriter, and the guy behind the world’s greatest Kickstarter.

Anyway, he also wrote a song about Miley Cyrus’ VMA performance, specifically culture’s hypocrisy regarding what we want in a pop star and what we reject when the pop star provides it. It is fantastic.
