Jane Lynch Performs a Nicki Minaj Rap on "Conan," Reminds Us That We Are Mere Tenants in her World

I feel so bad that Jane Lynch, who I adore, has been essentially pushed aside, relegated to the "Glee" sinkhole, where her immense talents are sorely under-appreciated. At one point, she was the second-most prolific actor in all the land, behind only Danny Trejo, but being an overworked series regular on "Glee" has taken her time away from us.

We deserve more Jane Lynch, and we shouldn't have to suffer through "Glee" to get it. Thankfully, she still does the talk shows, and last night she performed a Nicki Minaj rap on Conan (one that she'd prepared for "Glee") and she kills it, y'all. Who needs autotune and 72 takes when you've got Jane Lynch?

  • I too want in her to be in all the things, but I'm also always happy for a character actor who finds steady work.

Her role in Role Models is still one of my favorite characters of all time. "Me and the judge have a special relationship... I don't wanna get too graphic but I sucked his dick for drugs". In that absolutely perfect dead pan delivery we all know and love.

  • googergieger

    Ugh.

She's barely on the show nowadays. When she though, its a ray of light and it seems they only use her to go meta.

Uggh, now I wanna know which upcoming episode this was for. Though, it really doesn't matter, 'cause I watch ALL the damn episodes. I so wanna quit, but I've come so far.

The lesbian community got a Hope Diamond of a human being in Ms. Lynch. They should take back Lohan as penance for such awesomeness.

She was great in Wreck-It Ralph, which I finally got to watch last night. I've always enjoyed her. Her character in 40 Year Old Virgin made me laugh myself sick.

    I'll haunt your dreams.
