Fuck you, Rowles.

I am totally stirring the chili and doing the cabbage patch at my desk right now.

Posted by: Ophelia at December 2, 2010 5:47 PM

Well, alrighty then!! I feel much better!

Posted by: J9 at December 2, 2010 5:50 PM

Oh, wow. Thanks for this. It's the kind of thing you keep on hand for that day when you're in an awful, murdering mood. Which is usually the day after tomorrow, no matter what today is.

Posted by: Melodie at December 2, 2010 5:50 PM

Pass.

Posted by: Robert at December 2, 2010 5:52 PM

I love this more than most things. Also, it helped my tummy feel better. It's that good.

Posted by: epperS at December 2, 2010 5:53 PM

Maybe I'm just a grumpy old coot but that video was more annoying than anything. It's mostly the music.

Posted by: Paultera at December 2, 2010 5:54 PM

Holy crap, that WAS a lot of awesome.

Mmmm, Weasely Twins.

Posted by: Anna von Beav at December 2, 2010 6:00 PM

Yep. That was seven shades of awesome.
Thank you Dustin.

Posted by: Simon at December 2, 2010 6:15 PM

The song alone sucks enough for me to not get thru 30 seconds.

Posted by: Cliff torres at December 2, 2010 6:16 PM

Sometimes things just suck, and then you get a little tiny ray of happiness from somewhere unexpected.

Thanks for that, really. Really really.

Posted by: mswas at December 2, 2010 6:22 PM

Well, that was stupid.

Oh, balls. Who am I kidding. I dug it. Notably absent: "Once More, With Feeling" and this scene, because everything is made better with Craig Robinson.

Posted by: TK at December 2, 2010 6:25 PM

I hate that song, but goddamn did that video make me feel all squishy inside.

Posted by: jM at December 2, 2010 6:27 PM

Minus 10 points for no "Strictly Ballroom" visuals. Have you SEEN those outfits?!?

Plus 100 for David Bowie in Labyrinth, and plus infinity for John Noble in Fringe.

Posted by: Meggrs at December 2, 2010 6:34 PM

Damn this is good. Dancing round my room good. Icing on the cake is the Sherlock wink ;)

Posted by: rainy at December 2, 2010 6:36 PM

Now I want to know who could make such an adorable, completely Pajiba-targeted video and then put THAT music with it. My brain is all confuzzled now.

Posted by: Anne (in Reno) at December 2, 2010 6:40 PM

That was cute. Too much Community for my liking, but Olive made up for it. I love Olive so much.

Posted by: figgy at December 2, 2010 6:56 PM

I want to hug that video so hard that we all get pregnant.

Posted by: Shane at December 2, 2010 6:56 PM

I got through 47 seconds of that godawful song. The montage, cool. But next time, use a better song.

Posted by: Slash at December 2, 2010 6:57 PM

Damn. Meggrs beat me to the John Noble praise but since Walter Bishop is awesome times infinity, I will laud upon his presence in this video as well. Actually, I'd love this video even more if it was just him dancing around for 3 1/2 minutes. He makes my day.

Also, Dr. WHO!!! Woo-WHO! (See what I did there?)

Posted by: Vonnegut Slut at December 2, 2010 6:59 PM

AAAH! Loved the Sherlock Wink and the David Tennant on a Horse Wink! Winks all around!

Best Hanukkah present ever

Posted by: esme at December 2, 2010 7:04 PM

Gay.

Posted by: the new transported man at December 2, 2010 7:08 PM

As I'm at work, I watched it with the sound off, and it was still adorable and made me smile. (In light of some of the comments, probably BETTER with the sound off.)

Posted by: MM at December 2, 2010 7:09 PM

Liked this but no 30 rock dancing?? Come on.

Posted by: Roonies at December 2, 2010 7:10 PM

OK. Which Pajiban made this? Fess up now. I know it was one of you.

That was joyous. Walter and The Doctor and Captain Tightpants? Perfection.

Posted by: Scully at December 2, 2010 7:14 PM

I think it just needs to be Sam Rockwell the whole time...

Posted by: Theseus at December 2, 2010 7:31 PM

OMG, thank you so much for that. I've been down all day and that nearly made me cry from happy. Sure, the song was annoying, but I kinda got into the idea of it.

And one of the first faces I saw was My Doctor.
Happy sigh.

Thank you!

Posted by: Jgirl at December 2, 2010 7:35 PM

Any dance video with the new Sherlock Holmes rocks.

Posted by: James S at December 2, 2010 7:49 PM

I can't listen to shit like that. Sorry. They blare it in my neighborhood's grocery store and I get brain damage every time I buy potatoes.

Posted by: Lucas at December 2, 2010 7:50 PM

Eh. And too many clips from the same movies/shows, over and over and over and ... Oh, and the song blows.

Posted by: Jean at December 2, 2010 7:51 PM

Not bad at all. But this one's waaaay better (if nothing else, just for Mary Poppins lipsynching Footloose):

Posted by: schmerpes at December 2, 2010 7:54 PM

Oh...happy.

I grinned so hard now my face is sore.

Who made that?

Posted by: Jerce at December 2, 2010 8:02 PM

You had me at Neville.

Posted by: xoxoxoe at December 2, 2010 8:03 PM

I saw Community. Then I saw Abigail Breslin. Then I knew this would be the best four minutes of my life.

Posted by: Ljonz at December 2, 2010 8:20 PM

Made of happy.

Posted by: Peaches at December 2, 2010 8:40 PM

Brothers Bloom?!?!?!?! HURRAH!!!

Posted by: coveredinbees at December 2, 2010 8:46 PM

Can we play a game of "what's that from?" What's the group dancing scene at 3:18? I know I saw that show/movie, but I can't place it. Thx!

PS: Fringe + Community + Firefly + Little Miss Sunshine + Dr. Who > Black Eyed Peas

Posted by: Cabbage at December 2, 2010 9:04 PM

That was fun! Wheeeee!

Posted by: tamatha at December 2, 2010 9:07 PM

Cool video. Brain-meltingly awful "music".

Posted by: The Kilted Yaksman at December 2, 2010 9:09 PM

this video made me realize there's someone cooler than me in the world.
that sucks.

Posted by: John at December 2, 2010 9:19 PM

I believe the group dance at 3:18 is one of the scenes from (500) Days of Summer - there are a 3 or 4 clips from that.

Who's the guy playing his leg like a guitar?

Posted by: Three-nineteen at December 2, 2010 9:39 PM

That's Jensen Ackles. He plays Dean in Supernatural.

Posted by: Sarah at December 2, 2010 9:50 PM

The leg guitar man is Jensen Ackles, and I assume that clip is from Supernatural, though I certainly haven't seen that ep yet, myself. (I've only just finished Season 1.)

Posted by: Jgirl at December 2, 2010 9:56 PM

Ack, I shoulda left it on mute. Otherwise, I think I would've liked it and actually made it through.

Posted by: vdo86 at December 2, 2010 10:02 PM

it was impossible to enjoy because the cuts were just too quick. watching 600 one second cuts just makes me queasy in the stomach. a lot of the time i didn't even know what i was seeing, by the time my brain started organising the info, we'd be on the next "clip"

pajiba posted one a while back, set to footloose, that was really fun.

can't beat singing and dancing. makes you wonder why musicals are not more popular

Posted by: idleprimate at December 2, 2010 11:41 PM

Jensen Ackles, Eye of the Tiger

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0Fz_egtEgc

and yeah, I smiled...Bill Nighy, various Doctors and Sherlock...happy, happy.

Posted by: Jules at December 2, 2010 11:52 PM

Of course he would like this.

Posted by: typical at December 3, 2010 12:38 AM

So glad I gave that a chance. Am I the only one who saw the description and thought "Fuck no - they're trying to get me to watch another trailer for Yogi Bear!" But then I couldn't help myself and clicked anyway and I'm oh so glad. Only wish there had been some BtVS in there somewhere; otherwise it's glorious.

Posted by: Edith at December 3, 2010 12:42 AM

cute. needed more paul rudd dancing. i think i'll go and watch some of that right now...

Posted by: maxpurr9 at December 3, 2010 1:49 AM

A increased variation in clip length would've made that perfect.

Posted by: Lauren at December 3, 2010 2:01 AM

That was fun! Loved all the Misfits and Doctors. It needed more John Barrowman and Sam Rockwell + should of had some Gene Kelly and Fred Astair/Ginger Rogers.

Posted by: mc-rox at December 3, 2010 2:20 AM

FUCKING. AWFUL. Anything used to promote that much bat television should be shot in the face and left for HUNGRY ZOMBIES. An abomination.

Posted by: DP at December 3, 2010 3:54 AM

this video made me realize there's someone cooler than me in the world.
that sucks.

Posted by: John at December 2, 2010 9:19 PM

As Ben Folds wisely noted in one of his finest songs: "There Is Always Someone Cooler Than You."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxVEQ4K65jo

And to all those moaning about the music, just suck it up. I don't consider myself a fan of Flo Rida. In fact, I had to look it up on the youtube blurb to see who it was.

But this track seems just fine for some joyous and mindless dancing, so whining that the music doesn't match up to your arbitrary standards makes you seem like curmudgeonly old fogeys.

Now, a soundtrack by Westlife - there would have been something to moan about...

Posted by: Simon at December 3, 2010 5:20 AM

I agree with some of the other people. The video itself is great, and makes me happy, but the song makes me sad.

Like the Bruce Willis video. Super cool video. Super bad song.

Posted by: Candee at December 3, 2010 8:59 AM

Ehh! The video is showing up...stupid work browser. What's the name of it so I can look it up on youtube?

Posted by: Al at December 3, 2010 10:24 AM

Happy Happy Happy - thank you!

Posted by: Devo at December 3, 2010 11:05 AM

Would have liked a clip of Damon Salvatore's shirtless dancing scene, but otherwise.. BRAVO!

Posted by: An Atlantan at December 3, 2010 11:06 AM

Naw! Boring and stupid and I hate the song.

Posted by: BWeaves at December 3, 2010 11:12 AM

I'm getting nothing else done this afternoon. I have to watch this at least eight more times today.

Posted by: stardust at December 3, 2010 1:15 PM

Also, I can't help it, I like the song for what it is. Mindless dance-pop conducive to shaking what one's maternal unit bequeathed upon them.

Posted by: stardust at December 3, 2010 1:24 PM

Too cute. What were the Bill Nighy scenes from?

Posted by: Poptart at December 3, 2010 3:02 PM

BLISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

SO much happy.

Posted by: nadine at December 3, 2010 3:03 PM

Most of the Bill Nighy scenes are from Love Actually. I think there were shots from The Boat that Rocked as well.

Posted by: Malin at December 3, 2010 4:20 PM

"Agree that Paul Rudd could have had a cameo"

I Love You, Man clips are sprinkled throughout. Rudd is most clearly identifiable at 2:21 slappin' da bass, mon.

Posted by: Steve at December 3, 2010 5:52 PM

Slyapin' da byass.

Posted by: coveredinbees at December 3, 2010 6:12 PM

JOY!

Posted by: Chickaboom at December 3, 2010 8:57 PM

I'd have liked it more if it was only clips from Community.

I enjoy this new "Simon."

Nay, I *heart* him. Yes. I've said it. *Heart*.

Posted by: Anna von Beav at December 4, 2010 11:09 AM

THIS!!! This is why I love this site CO much!!!

Posted by: Jamie at December 4, 2010 11:57 AM

Sorry...lost the ability to spell in my thrill.
Meant SO much.

Posted by: Jamie at December 4, 2010 11:59 AM

Kiss asses! Or else all of you have fluffy bunny hearts to start with! I need more than a clip here & there of David Bowie to make me happy.

Posted by: mfg at December 4, 2010 10:57 PM

Damn... Was planning on being depressed today.. So much for that! Damn you Rowles..!!

Posted by: Sarah Barkai at December 5, 2010 7:44 AM

Would have been better with GOOD music. Some yummy Jareth ass though.

Posted by: Aaliyah at December 5, 2010 7:47 PM
