It’s the first time Harrison Ford has felt joy in 20 years.

You guys. Harrison Ford isn't grumpy. He's a freaking carpenter who ended up an actor. You're just used to the people who have always wanted to be actors who are "on" all of the time. He's ALWAYS been like this.

  • annie

I do believe right before that, BC had reminded Harrison about that time he met him and told him he fantasized about him.

    Harrison Ford has an earring.

    THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING.

  • Ragin Malaysian

Not to burst your bubble, but he's had one for years, at least for a decade.

He was on Late Night last night. Fallon warmed him up by making fun of himself, then this happened:

Haven't seen Ford this animated in years.
You can't say Fallon won't give himself up to hook and cheer a guest...

That video was spectacular. I especially loved the photo pose at the end.

  • grr arrgh

That was brilliant. My only thing, as someone with four piercings in each ear, is that they used the wrong type of earring, at least assuming he's gonna keep it. You can't remove the earring for at least 4 weeks so that thing is gonna be a bitch to sleep on. It was bad ass that he used the needle instead of the gun though. I would totally watch a show where Ford just pierces the ears of slightly unwilling participants.

I think Harrison Ford just likes to hurt other people.

  • Harrison Ford's reaction there would be enough to put a smile on Harrison Ford's face.

  • Gavin Smith

That's awesome! Why is Harrison Ford so grumpy, though?

  • John G.

Calista Flockhart has escaped from her cage. She's loose on the Montana estate, and he hasn't found her yet. That's why he's so grumpy.

  • annie

I think he finds amusement in trolling us with his introvertedness/grump.

  • Arran

I'm not sure Ford is even genuinely grumpy. He's just super dry and doesn't really care to put on a show in such circumstances.

Plus, he's really baked a lot of the time.

  • JenVegas

Him, PStew, Sir Ian....these are the guys I want to be hanging out with.

  • He totally had the stoner, second take while he was trying to form words. And he failed!

That's the face my dad makes when he's forced to go to dinners when he'd rather be home in his pjs with the dog on his lap watching a law and order marathon.

  • chanohack

Your dad may be my spirit animal.

Throw in some craft brew and I second that.

At this point I think we all just wonder why Harrison and Bruce Willis still do the movies. They obviously not enjoin it. They are lifeless on screen, they are lifeless when they are promoting it. They are rich enough to retire. Yet they still do it.

I think it’s ego. They used to be superstars and they are afraid they will lose that status if they will stop doing movies and become irrelevant. I don’t see any other reason why they do it. It’s just painfully now to see Harrison Bored and Bruce Willis on screen or during promotion.

They must make sacrifice at the altars of the Gods of Child Support and Alimony.

I would have said Murder She Wrote or Matlock.

  • AvaLehra

    TJ Hooker.
