Goddamn, I Love 'Parenthood'
This is exactly why I chose “Parenthood” as the show that I wanted to live in. Yesterday, when I wrote “I just want to live in a big house with a large, adoring family that occasionally bickers; that deals with drama that feels large to us, but that is small-scale in the grand scheme; and that, at the end of the day, always comes back to each other, and dances in the kitchen to PG-rated hip hop like the lame suburban tools they are.”
This video is precisely what I meant. The cast of “Parenthood” got together with Landon Pigg (Mae Whitman’s boyfriend) and filmed this music video cover of LFO’s 1999 hit. It is so charming, so endearing, and Good God, people. Jason Ritter. And Michael B. Jordan rapping. And lame suburban people who just fucking adore each other. How goddamn great is this?
