Ford Brilliantly Craps All Over Cadillac's Pretentious Rich Guy Ad

Have you seen this Cadillac ad with Neal McDonough (who, by the way, refuses to do sex scenes because of his religious beliefs, which got him fired from a series called Scoundrels)? Basically, the ad is about the American work ethic, and how we work hard, because we’re “crazy driven, hard-working believers” that’s why, and we’re better than Europe because they take a month off in August, and we went to the moon, and it was like, boring and stuff and blah blah shut up rich dude whose idea of hard work is firing 6 people in one day.

Anyway, Ford came out with a similar ad with the same structure, only it’s about growing food locally and helping the environment, and it’s not a middle finger to anyone, except pompous rich guys. It is fantastic.

Well done, marketing folks. Well done.
