The One Where that Lady from "Friends" Gets Upstaged by Tila Tequila

Jennifer Aniston appeared on the latest episode of “Between Two Ferns” ostensibly to promote her new Adam Sandler films, Just Go With It. Unfortunately for Aniston, Galifianakis was too preoccupied with his other guest, Tila Tequila, to discuss Aniston’s movie.

It’s just as well. Really.

If I ever meet Zach Galifianakis, I'm going to ask him one question, "Did it hurt...?"

To which he'll have to reply, "Did what hurt?"

Naturally, my only answer can be a wink, a smile, and the line, "When you fell from heaven."

Oh, and the ladies were funny, too.

Aaah! My work blocks Funny or Die. I don't want to wait 9 hours to see Zach.

RobP, once he politely laughs at your joke you should be all like, "Because the fall really did a number on your face. My God." And just shake your head like you're disgusted.

I feel your pain dude.

Jennifer Anderson was a good sport.

See now, if Aniston would do actual movies that were even half as funny as this, we would like her. Clearly she has a sense of humor and she pulled that off really well. Why can't she pick a script?

Ms. Anderson is deflated and surprised that she's not on the list of the 50 Most Beautiful Actresses in film. There ain't no justice.

superasente, that's pretty damn good. And even funnier because from a surface level I resemble him (chubby, beard, dark hair; glasses, so Kevin Smith, too).

@Paultera and zeke the pig: You poor sonsabitches, I'm going to watch it again, twice, just for you.

I can't understand how the cat is not out of the bag on this. It's like: hello...you've been invited to appear on a show where Zach is sitting in a darkened stage with vegetation. It's a bit. How would he be able to hoodwink anyone any more? He needs to move on to politicians or something...

Posted by: gunnertec at February 9, 2011 10:37 AM

i think they're in on it gunnertec

Posted by: superking at February 9, 2011 10:59 AM

i think it ridiculous that people believe that jennifer was "upstaged" in this. that obviously went exactly as scripted and i thought her funny. but then again, i'm not preprogrammed to hate on her...

If I ever meet Zach Galifianakis, I'm going to ask him one question, "Did it hurt...?"

To which he'll have to reply, "Did what hurt?"

And after the screaming dies down I'll tell him.

Special No-Prize for figuring out the reference.

she wasn't upstaged- from what i know, shes in on it- and the whole thing was either improvd, or very well scripted.

also between this and her appearance on Conan, im beginning to really like her.

maxpurr9 either needs to have his/her irony reader checked OR is functioning on a whole other level in comparison with which we are mere sarcasm shadows in a cave. I hope its the former as caves freak me out.

I, for one, welcome our Purring Overlord.

Isn't this all a parody? Pretty sure she's playing "upstaged". After all, this is funny or die.

Posted by: JuiceinLA at February 9, 2011 6:43 PM

maxpurr and @she are right. This was a parody, its all one big joke, and now everyone who thought Jen was upstaged has to bow to her acting prowess because you all got hoodwinked!

Hey!! My comment was withheld!! Why? I didn't use any of the bad words...

Anyway, what I said was: Mrs. Julien, ERUDITE'D!!

Ok The Wanderer, I will take no No-Prize from you, just tell me... or someone...

When you are competing with Ms Tequila (even as a joke) for air time, then you know you suck. Aniston isn't funny--never has been and never will be. Her so-called career has to be God's joke on us all.
