I wish Steak Me Home Tonight was real and parked near my work. I'd eat there every day. Hot dogs are nice, but you can't eat them every day, that'd fucking kill you withing months.

I don't know how or when it happened, but Happy Endings has quickly become my second favorite comedy after Parks and Recreation, and I think may actually beat Parks on a pure jokes-per-minute level. They've been hitting it out of the park this season.

So I guess I should start watching this?

I don't know what was better, how gorgeous Casey Wilson looked in that dress or how hilarious her fall was (the shoe was a nice touch).

The biggest laugh of the night was a split second, when Brad said "Quit actin' like a little bitch." and Brent Musburger did a little high pitched quack. I seriously howled for like 5 minutes at that.

Happy Endings has grown on me. Max is becoming increasingly annoying to me, though. He might not be a stereotypical gay character, which I love about him, but he still mostly seems to be around to drop wacky quips or do weird things. All of Penny's story lines revolving around her not being able to land a man has worn out its welcome as well.

Fred Savage would be a dick about Princess Bride all these years later.

I finally started to watch this show earlier this week. I had DVR'd the Halloween episode, watched that and then quickly watched two more episodes On Demmand. Great stuff. Glad I finally took the plunge. It's now officially in my DVR rotation.

*fist bumps Rowles*

Thanks, dude.

I tried to watch this last night on the recommendation of Pajiba. I made it to through the Steak-tanic scene and then promptly gave up. It's not nearly as funny as I was expecting. It was interesting to see how many faces Casey Wilson could pull in one scene (my count: far too many). I suppose that's to be expected from the woman behind that dreadful "Bride Wars" movie. Seriously guys, I don't get the love for this one.

The "steak-tanic scene" was two minutes long and happened before the credits ran.

Posted by: becks at November 3, 2011 5:13 PM

I meant the scene where the guy with the Steaktanic idea (whatever his name is) tells Max that he's going with a professional. The scene where he makes fun of his turtleneck. Whatever. I'm half out of my mind with the flu, so EXCUSE ME for not naming the right scene. It still sucked.

Posted by: MelBivDevoe at November 3, 2011 6:02 PM

...I'm such a bitch sometimes. I think I need another nap.

Posted by: MelBivDevoe at November 3, 2011 6:13 PM

Haha, having the flu is the pits and you can be forgiven for hating the show under those circumstances only. You're too adorable and funny yourself to hate the show under any other circumstances. I can't have it.

(You're never a bitch, Mel, don't worry.)

In case some people didn't notice, Fred Savage directed this episode.

Yet another episode with waaaaaay too little Brax, but Brent Musberger was awesome.

Aw, thanks becks. This might be the medicine talking, but I love you. (It's not the medicine.)

I should give this show another try when I'm in my right mind again. If it's beloved by many Pajibans, it's worth the watch.

God, I want to eat that thing.
