We aren’t letting Mad Men’s split final season get us down around these parts (even if midseason breaks are decidedly unwelcome). We’re spending the down time rewatching the entire series and talking about it on the podcast Not Great, Pod! Our latest conversation revolves around the first three episodes of Season Three, the season many of us truly began to love this show.

The season has everything, from this random, beautiful, and bewildering shot of Sally Draper, bloodied after a fight:

To Betty’s stellar parenting:

To Pete and Trudy’s wicked dance moves:

And to Roger’s perfect one-liners:

Join us — myself, Corey Atad, and special guest Calum Marsh, whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, Esquire, and Playboy — as we discuss the first six episodes of Season Three in the latest Not Great, Pod!

And join us for the rewatch, won’t you? It continues at the end of October with the second half of Season Three. And try to avoid tractors in the workplace.
