The 'Wonder Woman' Trailer Shows Promise, But Suffers from 'Man on Steel' Syndrome

I love that a Wonder Woman movie finally exists, and Gal Gadot is perfect for the role, but while the action sequences suggested in the trailer look nifty as hell, the trailer for the Patty Jenkins’ movie suffers from what the Superman movies suffered from: Grim, deadly seriousness. Apparently, the sense of humor didn’t filter up the chain until Justice League, save for the last 10 seconds of the trailer (which is fantastic).

I’m still going to watch the sh*t out of this, though.
