Wocka Wocka Wocka: The Pig With The Froggy Tattoo Trailer (A The Muppets Parody)

By now you’re probably well aware that The Muppets is coming to theaters this American Thanksgiving, what with all the trailer parodies Disney has been releasing to promote this illustrious event. The ad wizards who came up with this one are actually doing their jobs extremely well for once (and I’d like to believe it’s just Jason Segel riffing while on the HIMYM hiatus). By spoofing The Hangover Part II, Green Lantern, and Romantic Comedies generally, the trailers capture one generation’s nostalgia, remind another that Jim Henson’s creations can be more than just kids’ stuff, and hopefully inspire a new one’s imagination for the first time.
They do this once again in their new spoof on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, cheekily entitled The Pig with the Froggy Tattoo. See for yourself:

I think I like this one even better than the original. It’s got me craving turkey legs and pumpkin pie. There’s even a poster to mimic the delightfully NSFW one-sheet of Daniel Craig and a topless Rooney Mara. Unfortunately, Miss Piggy doesn’t seem to be suffering from a wardrobe malfunction:
