I don’t know about y’all, but I’m frothing at the mouth for The Walking Dead to return from its midseason break. And just eff the people who decide to torture us by breaking seasons in half; like in between seasons, we don’t already suffer enough? It’s icy and snowy and cold outside — at least please let us keep our favorite shows.

Speaking of torture, this latest teaser for “What Happened and What’s Going On” finally gives a glimpse of something other than the gang fending off walkers. But what and where is it, and is it good news or bad (I don’t know if there’s such a thing as good news in Walking Dead-land). After all the madness of the prison, Woodbury, and Terminus, you’d think Daryl, Rick and Co. would be wary of heading into any other enclosure, and yet…

I haven’t read the comics, but there’s enough online chatter going on that I’ve heard about the (Comic ***Spoilers ahead, swipe to see): Alexandria Safe-Zone; many are speculating those gates at the teaser’s start may be the entryway, and that Alexandria will be where Morgan (last seen at the end of “Coda”) and Rick will reunite. End comic spoilers.

Will the group, which now includes Noah (Tyler James Williams), finally find a safe haven, or is there just another terrifying, whackadoodie leader behind those gates? And we mustn’t forget about these possibly spoilerish photos.

Please be considerate of your fellow commenters and mark Spoilerish comic discussions.

Here are the rest of the return teasers, in case you haven’t seen them:

Tomorrow, cast members will be answering questions in a Google Hangout; check here for details.

The Walking Dead returns this Sunday, February 8th.
