Two New Thor Trailers Will Blow Your Sh*t Away

I admit it: I’m a little excited about the new Thor movie. There’s been some decent advance buzz, it looks like fun (though not particularly clever), and there’s a lot of pretty to see. The marketing has been on overload a little as of late, but that’s to be expected for a big budget movie that’s due out in a couple of weeks. Now we’re got a couple of new trailers, and they’re… different.

Hmm. That may have been the wrong link.

Huh. Maybe it doesn’t look as cool as I thought. The uzi’s an interesting choice, I must say.

Happy Monday.

I thought it looked like shit but it's rocking a 93% right now with multiple reviews on Rotten Tomatoes so maybe it's going to surprise us.

I am so glad Richard Grieco's career has come to this.

If nothing else the trailer for Almighty Thor broke the trend of supers staying up waaaaaay too long. But it does have Patricia Velasquez. Despite being the lesser of 2 Marta's, she holds a special place in my heart*.

*Mostly in the crotchal area.

No, no. That second trailer represents some of the best moments of Simonson's run when Sif was Hispanic and Thor faced off against Loki in an abandoned office park.

So, what's the most iconic image we associate with Thor? Nooo, not a codpiece, a hammer. So, if we are going to make a Thor movie, even a thrid rate knock off to take advantage of a major theatrical release, let's try to make the hammer look like a hammer, not like a building designed by a second year architecture student on a glue binge. I know, I know you want to make it "special" and "unique" but you're not good enough to do that. Just show him with a damned hammer, and try not to cock up every aspect of the damn movie.

I'd rather see this one than the other one. This one looks like a cheesy good time. Maybe it's those hammerheaded monsters. Maybe it's the power of The Grieco. I dunno.

Ugh. Richard Greico isn't getting laid as much anymore that's for sure.

have no interest in seeing this movie. the trailers look dumb to me. i keep hoping though and click on links like this one but it's just not happening. whatever

I think I preferred Thor in "Adventures in Babysitting".

Oh, and I'm fairly certain that's a Mini-Uzi, rather than an Uzi. Too compact to be the original model.

WTF? Are we rebooting before the original even comes out, now? Is this a preborkquel? Or is this porno? Please tell me it's the porno version.

Sorry. I had to get that out there.
