"Torchwood: Miracle Day" Feature Clip

“Torchwood: Miracle Day” creeps ever closer and it’s reaching that fever pitch where it seems that there’s some new little clip or snippet available every other day. I think I’ve observed before that that makes life both easier and harder for your kindly writer. Easy, because it doesn’t take forty-five minutes of trolling around to find you something worth reading. Harder because Captain Jack makes everything harder. Badum-ching! I’ll be here all week, tip your waitresses.

Huh. What an odd video mix up. I blame sunspots. Or Anonymous.

Sigh. After “Children of Earth,” I don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to a television show like this before, but everything that they’re telling me to be excited about just makes me more and more worried. I can see it has a demonstrably bigger budget, and it just feels like everyone involved said “Oy! We got American money and American viewers. Americans like explosions right?” I really hope I’m wrong.

Seriously, the defining characteristic of Children of Earth (to me anyway) was man ass. And this is on a premium cable network? Honestly if we don't get some Barrowman full frontal, I'll be disappointed, and I'm not even gay.

It should be available for streaming the day after it airs, right? I don't have Starz and I'm not the one paying the TV bill, so my options are internet-limited.

And yes, there better be some skin and making out. Hell yes. ;)

I'm a bit apprehensive that they will screw it up. But I still really really want more Torchwood.

Unforunately I'm alone among my friends in that - every one of them has decided that CoE was too damn dark and/or they will never forgive RTD for Ianto, so they are done.

*sigh* It's like they were never broken in by Joss Whedon, the fan-favourite killer....
