Um... second on the list would be to see a great John Carpenter flick.

Oh, and ending world peace and feeding the hungry would be pretty solid too. OK, you know what? I might have fucked up the order of those things. Shut UP, voices in my head.

Where was I?

Right. So here's the trailer for Carpenter's The Ward, which stars Amber Heard and Danielle Panabaker, about a girl who ends up in a mental institution where weird shit takes place. No, she doesn't fight dragons and giant robot samurai... that's the other girl in a crazyhouse flick coming out this hear. PAY ATTENTION.

OK, so it's not a full trailer, but more the beginning of a trailer. I do not know why. The lads over at Slashfilm came across it via Bleeding Cool. Regardless, that 45 seconds or so doesn't blow me away, and apparently the reception to the film's UK screening this past weekend was pretty mixed. It also doesn't actually have a US release date yet. These things bode ill for its future.


Oh well. Still holding out for that bike, though.
