"The Walking Dead," Season Two Trailer: Long Road To Ruin

I’m the weird one. I admit that. I’m not like most of our writers and readers, and it’s not just because you’re all assholes. No, it’s because in all honesty, I only watch two television shows. Two. That’s it. I watched the first season of “Game of Thrones” and got hooked, and now I eagerly await season two… next year. And I watched the first season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and loved the motherfucking hell out of it — perhaps too much, at times. I’ve re-watched it, and while I still think it’s an outstanding series that’s better than 95% of what’s on television, I was more kind to it at times than I should have been. It was a brilliant, interesting, exciting shows… with flaws.

And now, we’re finally getting close to Season Two, and I’m once again wracked with anticipation. There were rumors and news over the course of the year that made things seem a bit grim at times — budget cuts, writers being fired, etc. Yet through all of that, I’ve been hoping that we’ll see more of what made season one so great — a character-driven, beautifully filmed, starkly grim yet realistic depiction of the world gone dead. Gone undead, rather.

So here’s the trailer for Season Two. Not that lame-ass teaser thing from a few days ago. That was nothing. That was a starter salad. This is the meat. And it’s gooooood. As I hoped, it focuses less on the dead and more on the living. Until the end. At the end of the trailer, well…

Engine overheating is peanuts. I hate not being able to watch videos cos I'm in the wrong country or some rubbish.

Yeah a lot of Rick's ideas in Walking Dead are good (covering themselves in zombie gore and walking like zombies to get to the repo lot.) Hide under the cars is NOT a good idea.

Looks awesome.

I finally got the DVDs for the first season last week. Look forward to re-watching.

It will be interesting to see how they maintain it over the course of the next 13 episodes.

I love that this show allows people to get ratty and smelly looking as if they actually have been cut off from plumbing and electricity. For that alone, it's heads above any other TV show currently on TV.

If you only watch 2 shows how do you know it's better than 95% of what's on tv? Or is Walking Dead better than 95% of Game of Thrones?

God damn it! I can't see the fucking video! Is anyone else having this problem who IS in the states?

My computer is completely updated, and I can only see maybe half the videos that are posted. And not just here, but EVERYWHERE.

I agree with PJ. What kind of credit should we give you on TV shows if you only watch 2 shows. You even seem to be bragging about it.

Walking Dead is good but still half the season last year was cliched and boring. Let's hope it gets a lot better.
