The Original Alien Trailer, Now with More 5 Times More BRAAAAAAAHM

Vulture took a look back at 2011’s trailers and surmised that Inception had worked itself into the DNA of this year’s trailer editors. It’s true, too: From Battle Los Angeles to Super 8 to Puss in Boots, the Inception style trailer edit with bonus BRAAAAHM was everywhere, including the most recent Prometheus trailer.

It’s only natural, then, that the Inception style be retroactively applied to older trailers, which is what one enterprising YouTuber, heresjohnny1991, has done for the original Alien movie: He’s Prometheus-izedInception-ized it, which is to say: He’s made it kind of awesome.

Saying that he made it kind of awesome somehow implies that the original trailer wasn't awesome in and of itself.

Bah! This was an easy trailer to make. I mean it was the just natural progression that someone took the Prometheus trailer and used the Alien footage in its place.

Come back to me when someone successfully manages to make a movie trailer scored with the Inception symphony hit using footage from an early Disney movie.

I mean just imagine;

"Your mother can't be with you anymore. "

BRAAAAHM!!!!!

or

"You poor, simple fools. Thinking you could defeat me. *Me*, The Mistress of All Evil!"

BRAAAAHM!!!!!

or

"Take that ironing and have it back in an hour! One hour, you hear?"
