Gaby Hoffman is keeping the Hoffmannaissance going at all costs. Her current cost? $25 a day. That’s how much she was paid for the new horror web series Lyle. (Actually, that was the agreed pay rate, but when production found they were under budget, they bumped her up to $100/day. Hearts of gold, those producers.)

Lyle is being described as the “lesbian Rosemary’s Baby,” and as if I weren’t already willing and excited to watch Gaby Hoffmann do just about anything, I’m pretty sure this is my new favorite show. Hoffmann plays a pregnant woman (cause she is!), mourning the loss of her and her partner’s daughter. The series premieres at Outfest and online this weekend.
