The Expendables 2 Trailer Is Basically A Planet Hollywood Owners Reunion (Not That There's Anything Wrong With That)

It’s kind of amazing how many of the stars in The Expendables 2 were mentioned either in yesterday’s Hollywood Republicans lists (including the comments). Or, if not amazing, then definitely worthy of a self-reflective “duh-doy” on my part. Don’t ask me how, but it perfectly explains why the first Expendables was all sorts of horribly awesome/awesomely horrible, as well as why the sequel looks to be even more so.

See for yourself (or here in HD):

Hopefully the roles of Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been expanded, as the trailer definitely sells that, and doing so would infinitely improve upon the original recipe. The inclusion of Van Damme certainly doesn’t hurt, either. It’s everything you want for a movie whose only reason for existing is to flex muscles, blow stuff up, and make sweaty assholes seem charming and heroic outside of Playgirl magazine. And I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t want to see that in a theater beginning next August 17th.

Rob Payne also writes the indie comic The Unstoppable Force, tweets on the Twitter @RobOfWar, and his ware can be purchased here. He plans on taking that Friday off, too, what with it being the day after his birthday and all.

How can 0.5 seconds of watching Arnie fire a big gun put such a smile on my face? I´m not even gay.

I can't help it, I am excited that Arnie is coming back to movies - whatever else he is, he is so entertaining!

If The Hunger Games becomes a smash I would expect bigger placement on Liam Hemsworth on the upcoming ads for this.

This looks fun. I enjoyed the hell out of the first one. But what is with Willis lately and showing up in cheesy action franchises? First GI Joe and now this. He doesn't even attempt to play a character other than Bruce Willis anymore.

Well, here's the most dangerous thing I've said all day: Fuck Chuck Norris in the ear with a garden hose. Seriously, what the hell Chuck Norris? You're the most boring person on earth, and I know this because I saw an episode of Walker Texas Ranger one night when I was studying for a Shakespeare final and I had to (HAD TO) stay awake. Do you know how hard it is to stay awake while Chuck Norris talks? You might as well pop an Ambien, light a lavender candle, and play the Moonlight Sonata on repeat. I HATE you! In closing, I may be a 4'11" novelist/baker but if I ever met Chuck Norris in person I would punch him in his boring, smuggity-smug, right wing, bat-shit crazy face... probably on his third fist/chin.

Van Damme and Lundgreen made my fucking day!

Looks totally fucking stupid. Where does the line to see it start?

I have come to understand that expenses for on-line degree pros tend to be an incredible value. For instance a full Bachelors Degree in Communication in the University of Phoenix Online consists of 60 credits at $515/credit or $30,900. Also American Intercontinental University Online gives a Bachelors of Business Administration with a whole course element of 180 units and a tuition fee of $30,560. Online studying has made obtaining your diploma far less difficult because you might earn your own degree in the comfort of your abode and when you finish from work. Thanks for all tips I have really learned from your web-site.
