The LEGO Version of 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' Trailer Is Creepier Than the Original

Sure, it’s a bit off-putting to see James Spader’s menacing purr emerging from Ultron in the original trailer. The whole “I got no strings” bit is unsettling, especially with the chorus of creepy kids singing along. It was the perfect bit to attract all of us back into obsession and sleuthing for clues within the snippet of footage we were presented.

YouTube user JimA73 took all of those elements, dressed them in LEGO drag, and created a trailer just as intriguing as the live-action original. It does, however, take the LEGO cake in creepy. The distorted robot entering Avengers tower? It looks like it fell in the Po’lish Remover of Na’il and had a messy makeout session with Sword of Exact Zero.
