The Coen's 'Hail, Caesar!' Is Going to Flat Out Kill Us, Isn't It?

If you weren’t already sold on Joel and Ethan Coen’s next comedy, this riotously simple scene between Ralph Fiennes and Alden Ehrenreich will give you exactly what you need to know. You are going to die. Laughter will kill you. It’s so perfectly reminiscent of old Hollywood (and Python) comedy, we may not even need the rest of the film to happen. And for the record, I have never exaggerated in my life.

Okay, we probably do need the rest of the film (that cast!). Take me, Coens, I am prepared to die!

Hail, Caesar! also stars Josh Brolin as a Hollywood “fixer,” George Clooney as a kidnapped movie star, The Swinton (aka Tilda), Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Channing Tatum, Emily Beecham, Clancy Brown (!!!) and Jonah Hill; it begins counting the dead February 16th.

Cindy Davis, (Twitter) is watching that spectacular scene on a loop.
