The Blinky Teaser Makes Me Feel Funny in My Belly Button

I've mentioned it before, but I'm convinced that my generation's irrational fear of clowns stems back to Poltergeist, and the absolute terror of the clowns in that film, especially if you were young (when I revisited the movie a couple of years back, I realized how family-friendly it was, and then I jumped into a time machine, went back to 1984 and kicked my 9-year-old ass for being a whiny little pansy).

Anyway, I don't know a lot about Blinky, from director Ruairi Robinson, except that it used to be called Bad Robot and that it stars Max Records of Where the Wild Things Are fame. I do know, however, that the robot in the teaser trailer gives me the same uneasy feeling I had seeing that clown in Poltergeist. It's fucking creepy, people. It makes me feel funny in my belly button.
