Showtime Plays to Its Strengths: Sexy People Having Sexy Times. And Maybe Murder or Something

By Vivian Kane | Trailers | July 18, 2014 | Comments ()

If there’s one thing Showtime knows how to do, it’s getting a bunch of crazy hot people in a room together and just letting them be sexy all over each other. Based on this trailer, the new show The Affair seems to be continuing that work.

The sexy people in this scenario are Dominic West, Joshua Jackson, Ruth Wilson, and Maura Tierney. The team behind the show - which premiers in October - are pretty sexy too (at least brain-wise). It comes from Sarah Treem, a writer and executive producer behind the American House of Cards, with Friday Night Lights’ Jeffrey Reiner also producing and directing.
