Bill_Murray_Get_Low_TIFF09.jpg

Here’s the second trailer for Get Low. It stars Bill Murray and Robert Duvall, and if that doesn’t excite you, then you are dead in the heart, folks. It also stars Lucas Black, who is the poor man’s Paul Walker, this despite the fact that he’s a much better actor than Paul Walker. Also, Sissy Spacek is in it, and she’s a poor man to no one.

Meanwhile, here’s the second trailer for Charlie St. Cloud, which stars Zac Efron. Who is he the poor man of?

Finally, here’s the trailer for Dry Land. Look, Wilmer Valderrama sighting! Also, America Ferrara and Melissa Leo and Ethan Suplee and Jason Ritter. It debuted at Sundance. It looks pretty good, but it’s a PTSD war film, so feel free to ignore it.

Ahhh Lucas Black! That's the kid from American Gothic all grown up, right? I can never remember his name!

1. Bill Murray movie. Awesome! And I never use that word.

2. Zac Effeminate movie. Armpits! And I never use that word.

3. Dry Land movie. I thought America Ferrera and Wilmer Valderrama were the same person.

BWeaves, they are the same person. The director just wanted to hire his college buddy to do CGI.

Agreed, Movie #1 actor/actress superstorm of talent, number 2 not so much. Looks like a shitty Nicholas Sparks adaptation, number three might make me respect Vilmer W again.

I'm a little confused about this post.
The Bill Murray movie looks amazing.
The Zac Efron movie looks atrocious.
I'm totally indifferent to Dry Land.
Are they just together to save time?

Very strange and inaccurate comparison of Lucas Black and Paul Walker.
I dont believe either of them have ever played any characters that had any similarities.
Also, Lucas Black can act.

The first one gave me chills. Honest to god chills. At least I think. The air conditioning on pretty high in here.

love bill murray and it looks like this could be another great one for him

the second one made me angry; the manipulation is so obvious...poor little dead brother that plays catch (and casts a shadow); a film needs to earn its emotional moments and this one is just pulling the heart-strings for effect

as for the post-traumatic stress syndrome movie, it did nothing for me

I love Bill Murray, but not in a iwannahavehisbabies kind of way, since so many of my memories of my dad are tied up with Bill AND my dad kind of looked like Bill so that would be sort of creepy.

I will definetly see the Get Low movie... absolutely.

Wilmer looks pretty good there actually.
But Ryan O'Nan?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Onan the Biblical Wanker?

My stepdad Dennis looks quite like Robert Duvall, especially with the goatee. And my stepdad is reticent and a bit of a hermit. He's awesome. My favorite story about Dennis is from when I just visited him and Mama. It snowed, so they took me and the cousins out to play in the snow. We found a patch of ice and were goofing around when all of us suddenly got quiet and looked toward the woods near us. There stood Dennis. Just standing there, holding a big rock with a crazed look in his eye. He looked like some mountain man come out of his shack to kill us all.
Good times.

Zac Efron, your movie looks so, so dumb, but you are so, sooooo pretty.

Ohmygod I love movie trailers.

a) Get Low looks really good and I can't think of a time I've seen Bill Murray in a period film.

b) This Zac Efron crap looks about one rung above Lifetime Movie Network movie of the week

c) Who the hell is Ryan O'Nan and why haven't I seen him before? Dry Land looks great and very intense...

Did everyone else see the Starburst commercial with the screaming mime after the clip? That was a great commercial.

The Fast and the Furious - Walker was in 1,2 and 4, Black was in 3. I think.

I agree with you Did you know that dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish?
