Here's the teaser the searing, gritty celebreality Lifetime movie, The Anna Nicole Story, a humble film about boobs, drink, and the American dream. Agnes Bruckner turns in a tour de force performance as Anna Nicole in a movie that will undoubtedly challenge everything you ever thought you knew about Anna Nicole and sad-clown makeup.

Great Guns n' Roses video, or Greatest Guns n' Roses video?

Comments Are Welcome, Bigots and Trolls Are Not

  • **I AM** NotTheOne

    I don't like anyone anymore.

... How in the holy fuck did they get Adam Goldberg involved in this fucking mess? For that matter, the teaser doesn't show Cary Elwes, Virginia Madsen, or Martin fucking Landau are in this. What exactly does the producer have on these people to make them be in a god damned Lifetime movie?

  • James Bergquist

America loves three things. Guns, freedom and doped up trainwreck stars. Bless Lifetime for keeping in the clown makeup scene. Legendary.

  • Bedewcrock

Adam Goldberg? I'm confused. When did Lifetime movies become a part of Adam Goldberg's career?

  • e jerry powell

Somebody already put together an Anna Nicole opera (!!!) for Covent Garden. Can't we just leave it at that?

  • Mr_Zito

I didn't know who Anna Nicole Smith was, though her name sounds familiar (this is probably one of those rare cases where being a US celebrity doesn't mean you're a global celebrity; and I probably heard references in jokes I didn't understand in American tv shows). After watching the trailer I was intrigued and had to go to Wikipedia to find out more. Now, I'm not interested anymore.

  • Tracer Bullet

I must be getting soft in my old age because laughing at Anna Nicole Smith isn't fun anymore. Her greatest sins were that she was tacky and greedy and that's only a problem if you're "the wrong sort of people."

I know being dumb is not something one can help, so I can't get mad at her for being mentally challenged. I really do think she was mildly retarded. But, she was mean-spirited too, and I saw that in clips of her interacting with her assistant, and with Howard the lawyer and the old man she married, she was awful to all of them. She behaved really selfishly around her kids. I just don't think her death was a great loss to the gene pool, harsh as that is. She was not a nice person, and all she did was illustrate bratty, greedy, junkie, stupid behavior. It is tragic that she was responsible for her son's death. It is probably for the best she is not around to model nasty, stupid behavior for her daughter, or or kill her, too.

Who is singing the song? It sounds like Hailey Rienhart?

  • MsMoMo

Definitely needs a lot more voluptuous, cheese and crazy. And a lot less 'Fame'.

  • BWeaves

But, BOOBS! Surely the boobs would get you through it?

  • Drake

    DO IT!

  • Sara_Tonin00

Agnes Bruckner as Jenny McCarthy as Anna Nicole Smith?

    (is that a blonde inception?)

  • BWeaves

Um, where's the old guy? Her husband?

    Where's the fat Anna Nicole?

HOLY SHIT! CLOWNS . . . will not watch.

I would like to thank you, Dustin, for reducing my intelligence to a more manageable level. I was beginning to crack under the pressure of being able to form coherent sentences. Now I'm just happy that my salamander has a sticky tongue.

  • NynjaSquirrel

Interesting that Agnes Bruckner has SO much more about her just in that clip than ANS sadly ever did.

  • NynjaSquirrel

I'm sorry - I have no idea what 'Huh?' means in this context.

  • phase10

I think anikitty was having trouble parsing your first statement into a coherent thought.

  • NynjaSquirrel

Ahh, well, perhaps the phrase 'having more about her' is a peculiarly English thing. What I meant to say is that she gives off a far more interesting 'vibe', more energy/spark/sexuality, than ANS ever did.

  • anikitty

Thanks phase 10 and NynjaSuirrel for clearing all that up.
