The trailer for Morning Glory is below. It stars Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Patrick Wilson, and Diane Keaton. It was also produced by J.J. Abrams, which likely means he gave notes for the first three days of shooting and then bailed on the project when he saw a shiny penny.

The good news here is that there doesn’t appear to be any romance between McAdams’ and Ford’s characters, so we won’t have that to complain about. Although, Ford seems to be playing the same bitter old man he played in that Brendan Fraser cancer movie — the name escapes me, as does most of the film. It actually looks kind of cute, if not a little over the top. But that’s probably to be expected from the director of Notting Hill and the writer of The Devil Wears Prada.

Damn. I was actually enjoying Ford's crusty old man act until he got to the "What really matters" speech.

And once again. Patrick Wilson, SQQQUUUEEEE! God, I love that man. I will see it. Cause I see all of his movies. I am a shameless whore for him.

This is not "GET OFF MY PLANE" speed, Indy...

I would marry Rachel McAdams in a second, she can't possibly be less perfect to me in real life than in the movies, can she?

From the looks of it, Patrick Wilson gets to keep his goods in this one. Yay, Pat!

And this is a J.J. Abrams project? Weird, I didn't see the part where there's an alternate universe where everyone is the exact opposite of what we saw in the trailer.

I was just thinking I haven't had enough Jeff Goldblum in my life, lately. Awesome!

That was Rachael's scantily clad ass. I don't remember the rest.

Soooo....this is Good Day LA: The Movie?

In the near future, there will a Saturday afternoon when my husband is working and I am bored. There will be me, this movie at a dollar theatre, and a bottle of wine in my hobo bag. Possibly some beef jerky, but I can't marry myself to too many details right now.

First of all, not enough Will Dumphy. Second of all, if a character in this movie is named "Glory" I will cut a bitch.

Dear coveredinbees,
Thanks for reading my mind. On both counts. You seem awesome.

YOU FORGOT THE MAIN SELLING POINT HERE.

GOLDBLUM.

Rachel McAdams is my dream Hollywood woman. Plus, they like to show off her ass...because she has a nice ass.

That being said, was she SPRINTING in heels? Pffft suck that every other girl who I've ever seen simply try to jog in heels.

Dear coveredinbees:

Stop reading esme's mind. She's got it all wrong.

Sincerely,

I'm totally going to see this. Looks like the same happy fluff as Julie & Julia, and that is just what my sad little heart needs.

Harrison Ford in something that doesn't look vomitously awful? I'm in.

*Bonus* He seems to be wooing a woman born the same decade as him!
