There’s an anecdote about Martha’s Stewart’s time in prison that always makes me smile. On television after her release, she explained how she desperately missed lemon zest, but a zester was contraband. So, she made one herself out of a discarded tuna can. Then she hid it. Because even behind bars, Martha Stewart is Martha Stewart full-on.

Watching the trailer for Melissa McCarthy’s The Boss, the comedienne seems to have pulled some inspiration from Stewart’s brand of domestic can-do and egomaniacal you-damn-well-better-do-what-I-tell-you mixed with all kinds of craziness, from a a golden phoenix, to boob puppets, an outright brownie brawl, and an obscene amount of turtlenecks. And hey look! Kristen Bell!

The Boss opens April 8th, 2016.

Kristy Puchko knows Peter Dinklage is in this movie, bemoans him not being in this trailer.
