That’s the line that Rebecca sold this trailer to me on, and watching it, I can see exactly why people might weep at this movie. COACH TAYLOR DIES. And also, Boston accents, Michelle Williams (I MISSED HER), Gretchen Mol, Matthew Broderick, Tate Donovan and Josh Hamilton (I love that guy). Plus, it comes from Kenneth Lonergan, who is responsible for what is still one of my all-time favorite movies, You Can Count On Me.

This movie is right in my achy wheelhouse.

Manchester by the Sea comes out on November 18th, in time for awards season.
