Remember when back in 2013, San Francisco was transformed into Gotham City, and the Make a Wish Foundation helped 5-year old leukemia Miles Scott’s dream come true? Documentarian Dana Nachman (Witch Hunt, The Human Experiment) said that like many people, “that event rocked my world,” and she decided to tell Scott’s whole story, and how that great day came about. As you’d expect, the Batkid Begins: The Wish Heard Around the World brings back a rush of feelings, and probably even a few happy tears.

In wonderful news, Miles is in remission, and Batkid still makes public appearances now and then.

In related, kind of terrible news, there’s apparently a Batkid movie being made. Why terrible, you ask? Julia Roberts will star.
