FX released a few teasers for season two of Fargo last week, and while they tell us exactly nothing about the show’s plot, they told us a whole lot is terms of how excited we should be. (That’s VERY, by the way.) Now they’ve released the season’s first full trailer, and while it gives us glimpses of a plot, or at least action, the thing it still does best is reinforce that horribly enjoyable general tone of murder-whimsy the first season did so well.

While I’m really looking forward to Patrick Wilson’s pretty-mouthed Lou Solverson, what I’m by far most excited for is Jesse Plemons striking a sweet balance of Landry and Breaking Bad Todd (like he’s getting a do-over on his weird Friday Night Lights season two arc, which we do not speak of), while Kirsten Dunst does her best Lady Macbeth “out damn spot.”

Between this and the return of You’re the Worst, September can’t come fast enough on FX(X).
