If you grew up watching the very first Pirates Of The Caribbean movies as they were released in theaters, then I feel like the odds are pretty good that you haven’t been following the new films at all and have no idea what’s happening in the franchise anymore. Jack Sparrow was chasing mermaids and now he wants a trident, or something? Whatever, we’re all over Johnny Depp anyway.

But even though we’re only five movies in — which, when you look at franchises like Fast and Furious, is not actually that many — Pirates is already angling for a nostalgia-fueled reunion, it seems like. Pay real close attention to this new Japanese version trailer for the film and you’ll spy a quick glimpse of Elizabeth Swan in all her corset-busting glory.

We already knew that Orlando Bloom would be returning to reprise his role as Will Turner, aka the new Davy Jones, and we also knew that franchise newcomer Brenton Thwaites will probably be playing his son from the end of the third movie. So where does that fit Elizabeth into all this? Did being a pirate queen that one time imbue her with supernatural powers so she doesn’t age either? I’d say that’s ridiculous but come on, look at these movies. Naome Harris played a voodoo sea goddess, and that wasn’t even the weirdest thing that happened in At World’s End.
