Could it be? Is this a trailer for a movie I am genuinely interested in seeing? Yes, yes it is. Matthew McConaughey stars in Jeff Nichols' newest movie as a fugitive named Mud that befriends teens Ellis (Tye Sheridan) and Neckbone (Jacob Lofland). The boys help Mud avoid police, repair a boat, and assist him in finding his girlfriend, Juniper (Reese Witherspoon).

I can't pinpoint exactly what it is that makes me want to see Mud. McConaughey is menacing while exuding the kind of charm that makes it easy to see why two teenage boys would be attracted to him. The trailer is nice enough to give us what we need to be intrigued while leaving out the specifics of what Mud has done. Reese Witherspoon's character remains a sort of enigma; brutalized and looking lost and broken without spelling out how she came to be this person and how she feels about Mud. What do you think?

Here's some Daveed Diggs for you. On Daveed Diggs' digs, actually. That man does things with clothes that should not make sense, but are absolutely perfect. (Go Fug Yourself)

Woody Allen has "so moved on" from his daughter's accusations and says he never even thinks about it. He equates her words about him to a bad review he won't read and comments on how wacky it is that Mia Farrow is his mother-in-law. He is the worst. (Celebitchy)

Not The Worst but still very gross: Leonardo DiCaprio and his Pussy Posse Wolf Pack were on the douche prowl in NYC. (Lainey)

Here are 5 under-the-radar shows. I had never even heard of the first two. (Uproxx)
