The word out of the festival circuit is that director Steve McQueen's Shame is an absolutely devastating film, a stunner through and through. The trailers have certainly been quite impressive, and the film looks like a dark, seductive but also unflinching and painful look at sexual addiction. I can't help but think of this song, though.

I mean that in the best possible way.
