Take one part Half-Nelson (a professional with a drug habit) and combine it with Matt Damon’s The Rainmaker (An idealistic young lawyer takes on a powerful law firm representing a corrupt insurance company) and that about sums up Puncture, only it doesn’t look half as decent as the two films its blending. But it does have Chris Evans, who does his best poor man’s Ryan Gosling by way of late-career Al Pacino in The Puncture trailer.

“AT LEAST I HAVE THE COURAGE. TO LOSE. FOR WHAT’S. RIGHT.”

HOO-WA!

KYLE REESE!

MEREDITH GREY'S MOM!

AND Chris Evans looks to still be pumped from Cptn. America. I'm there, I can be really easy sometimes. I also liked his 'London' movie he did that everyone here hates so...

One of the strongest reasons Half Nelson is good is that NO ONE KNOWS he has a drug problem. They suspect it, but he's kind of a "man alone" if you will.

God I love that movie.

This looks dumb.

What I am about to say will Blow. Your. Mind:

I highly approve of the beard.

I think his beard looks awful. Like stubbly pubes.

That picture of him looking like a kicked puppy needs to become a meme right now. Fuck sad Keanu.

I watched Half Nelson recently for the first time. I thought it was some sappy indie movie that 'you just have to see' because of the great critical acclaim it received - but it IS SO GOOD. I never knew acting of this kind would be possible. Ryan Gosling has everything down, from his eyes, his voice, his breathing. It's all so real and gritty. You can see him FEEL what his character is feeling. Man, I fell in love with him after seeing that.

Chris Evans is so boring compared to that. Some girls might like him for his bodybuilder body, but to me it looks so fake and sculptured. It does nothing for me.

Chris Evans is dead to me after London and no amount of wounded puppy-dog acting will change that. Ever.
