Writer-director Sean McGinly’s latest film is about a man named Buck Howard (John Malkovich), an over-the-hill mentalist who’s peddling his act at community centers when he unexpectedly finds himself back in the limelight. Malkovich is a good fit for this kind of role — it’s basically Christopher Walken without the underlying murderous potential — and the supporting cast looks solid, too, including Colin Hanks and Steve Zahn. Plus, any time Ricky Jay gets work, I’m happy. The movie opens March 20:

Have I mentioned yet today how fucking hot in the pants I am for Conan O'Brien?

You had me at Malkovich.

"I dedicate this to Sulu from Star Trek, may the force be in you".

Quite possibly the best line ever.

Holy shit. That ad didn't just pop up, I left the page.

SECURE THAT SHIT, HUDSON!

/pointless

PS: Colin Hanks is like a generic Hayden Christensen... without the winning personality....

Admin, you beat me to it. I snorted tea all over my keyboard when I heard it.

that keeps happening to me from the home page, but hasn't generally from the linked pages.

No sir, I don't like it.

Okay, I actually have high hopes for this one. And I'm totally with Admin and BWeaves on loving the Sulu line. I'm totally gonna use that as a pick up line from now on. "I may have never seen Star Trek, but I'm about to have the force in me. Here's a condom."

For anyone that has the channel HDNET Movies they are showing this one night only in March before it hits theaters. Sorry if the trailer mentions this, Big Brother doesn't like us looking at anything fun.

Haha! That gives me an idea...

How much money would others be willing to pitch in to convince someone to have his penis tattooed to look like a lightsaber (hilt and all)? Part of the payment arrangements would require that he have to make the sound effects whenever he has a hard-on.

I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking, right?

branded

Not only do you not have to NOT pay for someone to do that, but almost certainly it has been done.

One of those internet rule 34 corollaries.

Sorry..... computer says noooo.

However I did run into one of a stormtrooper spanking Captain James Tiberius Kirk.

"May the force be in you."

Oh yes, please!

John Malkovich is like lovely evil.

A hot sexy beautiful girl named Johnny? Hmmm...

Anyways, this looks fantastic! I love Malkovich, so this will obviously make it's way to my Netflix queue.

Colin has his father's eyebrows and forehead potential.

This looks as endearing as That Thing You Do!, one of my most favoritest movies ever.

Clearly I'm the only person who has a girl-crush on Emily Blunt. The only reason I survived Devil Wears Prada. Well...that and that evil bitch Meryl. Stop judging me.

Netflix [save!]

I do think I'd love this movie if Walken were in it, instead of Malkie.

I must be hormonal cuz I got all warm and mushy seeing Tom and Colin acting together; how nice! papa and son...

Posted by: Stella at February 19, 2009 2:55 PM

It's amazing how much Hanks the Younger sounds like his papa.

Posted by: gelis at February 19, 2009 4:36 PM

The Hanks' seem to have pretty good chemistry on screen. They must have a really solid father/son bond. My father and I are like that too.

Yep, there is no stronger bond then the one forged between a father and son while sharing a Taiwanese hooker. Ask Tom, he'll tell you.

Love rules!!
Making out with a hot cougar would be fantastic!! that's what all my friends from ^^^^__ AgelessMate.Com__^^^^ told me again and again!! guess it's time to check the chemistry out!!LOL

Joker,

I don't have a girl crush, but I do have a Man-boner for Ms. Blunt.

John Malkovich's aunt was a teacher at my elementary school. I've been wanting to work that into casual conversation or into a post here without being obvious, but there really isn't an easy way to do that. So...just wanted to point that out again, his aunt was a teacher at my elementary school. She taught some sort of special ed class, and she passed away a few years back. My mom called to tell me and I was dying to know if he was going to be at the funeral. Should of went home to find out. But then I would've been that annoying small town fan bugging the celebrity while he's mourning his aunt. Okay, end of personal but pointless story.

A source says this guy posted a full profile at a site named Billionairepal..com where many celebrities and beautiful people are looking for romances. IS he still looking~~
