You know, until a few minutes ago, I’d never actually seen the trailer for Evil Dead II, but by God, it’s the way a sequel trailer should be. It offers up a little taste of the original Evil Dead, just to remind you of where it’s coming from, and instead of giving away any of the plot details (granted, they were scant), the trailer just offers up a few glorious visuals from the film. There’s enough in here to whet your appetite, but it doesn’t give anything away and, more importantly, it saves the-fist pumping lines for the actual movie.

It’s not a perfect trailer, but it is the perfect trailer for this movie. It will swallow your soul.

Great, now I'm looking at my McFarlane Ash figurine and want to watch the movie.

You're an ass.

I say we all watch the trilogy and regroup tomorrow.

This is too damn funny. Watching the trilogy in one sitting is already what I had planned for tonight. Just got back from my local booze shop and have already cracked what's to be the first of many cold beverages whilst watching The Chin ham it up. What I'm really trying to say is not only am I in TSF, I was already fucking there.

What do I say to my friend who thinks these movies suck? His basis for disliking rotten tomatoes is that according to RT, the evil dead movies are perfect, and to him they're the opposite of perfect. Do we have to stop being friends?

Yes Max, yes you do.

Better yet Max, you should kill your friend... with a chainsaw.

Agree, great trailer, don't show you the whole shabang in the trailer, like they do these days.
